EXO member Xiumin finally released his first solo mini-album Brand New and the music video for the title track with the same name.

The album contains five tracks, including "Brand New," "Feedback," "How We Do" featuring NCT's Mark, "Love Letter," and "Serenity."

On his "Brand New" Countdown Live, Xiumin shared why he chose "Brand New" as the title track for his debut album.

"It is a catchy song, a dance song with an old school vibe. It is showing my new sides for you," he said. "When I heard the guide song, it was so catchy. I felt a bright energy. I thought it would fit me. As Kim Min-seok, I thought the song was perfect for Xiumin, and I thought the performance would be cool too. The lyrics are about showing you changed for a loved one."

Xiumin also shared the new side he wants to show to everyone. "A new side. I will probably talk a lot since I am alone. I wanted to communicate with EXO-L so bad. So I will do that, and talk comfortably.

"I hope people think of me when they hear 'Brand New.' I am happy to see the new Minseok. Yes, that's why I'm doing this in my 10th year."

As of this writing, the hashtag "weareoneEXO" and "BRAND NEW OUT NOW" are trending on Twitter with both more than 100,000 tweets.
