Here's what went down during the Korean actor's official fan meet with his avid Filipino supporters.
A few months after Korean actor Hwang In-youp dropped by the Philippines for a press conference and fan meeting, he makes his return to the country and proves he's got so much love and appreciation for his Filipino supporters.
Last September 24, Hwang In-youp reunited with his Filipino fans at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao where he held his first official fan meeting. Manila was the last leg of the said event which he brought to countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand as well.

With the fun-filled segments Ovation Productions prepared for In-youp and his supporters, all fans no matter where they were seated got a taste of his great fan service. At the start, the Korean actor's knowledge of Philippine history was tested as he was asked numerous questions about our Filipino roots. In case you didn't know, In-youp stayed in Davao for four years where he graduated high school that's why the country is very close to his heart.
Afterwards, In-youp serenaded his Filipino fans and went around the entire theater to sing to them closely. He also took a trip down memory lane and recreated some of his characters in the Korean dramas he has starred in. But the real highlight of the event is the segment where fans were able to stare into his eyes and touch him.
Fans were randomly picked to play a game with In-youp himself. Those who were chosen went up on stage and either had a staring fight, clapping game, or arm wrestling with In-youp. Everyone in the theater felt all the kilig in the world as the Korean actor closely interacted with his Filipino fans.
As the event comes to an end, In-youp was surprised by a sweet video from his official Filipino fan club. The Korean star even met the founder of the said organization and expressed his gratitude to her by saying, “I love you.”
Currently, Hwang In-youp is starring in the star-studded variety show called Young Actors' Retreat where he is reunited with his co-stars Ji Chang-wook, Choi Sung-eun, Ji Hye-won, and Kim Bo-yoon from the Netflix series The Sound of Magic.
