Park Bom

Park Bom's agency, D-Nation, responded to comments regarding her weight, which became hot topic after the singer's recent visit to the Philippines

Fans have raised their concern for Park Bom's health after footage of her from the "2022 POPSTIVAL" in the Philippines on October 21 circulated on the internet.

Park Bom performed 2NE1 hits including "Fire," and her singles "Don't Cry," "Spring," and "You & I."

While fans were happy to see Park Bom on stage again, they also worried over the change in her appearance, with some leaving comments on social media regarding her weight gain.

On October 24, Park Bom's agency D-Nation made a statement to clarify their artist's health status.

"There is nothing wrong with Park Bom's health. She just gained weight since she was in her inactive period. She started working out again to lose weight."

In 2021, Park Bom gained attention for losing 24 lbs. She told Korean media, "It was difficult to go on a diet because of treatment (for ADD) but I am happy I was able to be successful. I am getting off medication and getting healthier."

Earlier this year, Park Bom was seen with her 2NE1 members Sandara Park, CL, and Minzy for a reunion at the 2022 Coachella. The former girl group members also celebrated Park Bom's birthday and the release of her latest solo single, "Flower."
