The year 2014 will be exciting for Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi as she stars in the upcoming Primetime series Rhodora X alongside Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, and Mark Anthony Fernandez.

"First, nag-request ako na gusto kong mag-countdown. Sabi kasi nila kapag may work ka on New Year, may work ka the whole year. Gusto kong makuha ang work na 'yun! Second, work hard. Siyempre aalagaan ko pa rin ang baby ko. Siguro pagdating na lang ng 2014 doon ko na iisipin ang iba ko pang gustong gawin (laughs), kasi sa ngayon wala pa akong masyadong plano. Ang alam ko lang magte-taping ako ng Rhodora X ngayon."
 
GIVE ME FIVE things you want to avoid in 2014
"Iiwasan ko na ang negative thinking ko. Pangalawa, iiwasan ko na rin ang mga negative people. Iiwasan ko na rin mag-buffet (laughs), at pagiging sobrang tutok sa cellphone, pero parang hindi ko kaya sa kaka-Instagram ko."
 
GIVE ME FIVE of your wishes for the coming year
"First, sana wala nang matitinding trahedya tulad ng Yolanda, 'yung earthquake at mga giyera. Sana mas peaceful this year. Sana next year, mas maging maayos lahat. For myself naman, wish ko I'll have more projects. At sana gumanda ako lalo hahaha! Sana maging happy ang lahat ng tao."
 
GIVE ME FIVE places you want to visit next year
"Kung may time akong mag-vacation next year, sana makapag-visit kami sa Middle East with my baby. Gusto ko pumunta sa Mauritius, o 'di kaya sa Seychelles, sa small islands na napuntahan na ng husband ko pero hindi ko pa napuntahan. Gusto ko ring mag-Europe kasi hindi pa rin ako nakapunta doon."
