“Dreamers” also dominated the iTunes charts globally!

Jungkook, the main vocalist of global boy group BTS, posted another historical moment as he performed in the opening ceremony of this year's FIFA World Cup.

Jungkook had a spectacular performance of “Dreamers,” the official song of the 2022 World Cup, live at the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar on Sunday.

The “golden maknae” of the Korean supergroup performed the dynamic song with Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi.

The single was dropped hours prior to the live performance and Jungkook sets record anew as “Dreamers” becomes the fastest official World Cup Song to hit No.1 on the US iTunes Top Songs chart.

An article by Soompi said the song only took two hours and 11 minutes to top the chart.

“Dreamers” also took over the iTunes charts of several countries. Soompi said the single reached No. 1 on iTunes in at least 102 regions, just 13 hours after it was released.

Jungkook is the third BTS member to stage his first solo performance, following J-hope who headlined this year's Lollapalooza and Jin's live performance of his solo single, “The Astronaut,” at Coldplay's broadcasted concert in Argentina.
