J hope of BTS


ARMYs, time to welcome a new year with J-hope!

J-hope of the global group BTS is set to perform at the New Year's Rockin' Eve at Time Square on December 31.

The surprise news was announced on BTS's official Twitter account on Friday.

According to the tweet, J-hope will be performing his song, “= (Equal Sign),” his rendition of “Chicken Noodle Soup,” and the holiday remix of BTS's award-winning song, “Butter” for the show.

The rapper-dancer also shared the announcement on his Instagram story with a caption, “Long time no see.”

He will be performing with Duran Duran, Jax, and New Edition during the live new year countdown show.

J-hope recently performed at the MAMA Awards 2022 in Osaka, Japan and also headlined this year's Lollapalooza.

J-hope released his acclaimed first solo album, Jack In The Box, earlier this year, which included his hit songs, “MORE,” “Arson,” and “= (Equal Sign),” among others.

Meanwhile, BTS performed as a group at the stage of Rockin' Eve in 2017 and 2019.
