In an interview with '24 Oras,' Bea Alonzo shed light on the rumors about John Lloyd's statement regarding their reunion project. “Syempre tinawagan ko siya agad," says the actress.
With the finale of Start-Up Ph later, fans have been wondering what is next for Bea Alonzo. Will there be a reunion project with her long-time onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz?
In an interview with Nelson Canlas on 24 Oras, Bea clarified the statement John Lloyd allegedly made regarding a reunion movie. According to the rumors, the actor said that their reunion project is “fake news.”
“Syempre tinawagan ko siya agad. Tutal magkaibigan naman kami, tinawagan ko siya and he denied that he said that,” she said.
Bea shared that since she and John Lloyd are friends, she's able to call him and talk about it.
“We both agree na hindi kami magpapaapekto sa kung ano-ano man,” she added.
Talks about the possibility of a comeback movie together started when Bea shared that she wanted to do a project with John Lloyd after she finished taping her series, Start-Up PH.
“Lahat ito ay magdedepende pa sa time naming dalawa kung magtutugma at magdedepende pa sa script kung mababasa na ni John Lloyd and if he will agree to doing it,” she said in a previous interview.
She added, “It's very exciting and nakaka-flatter din kasi kahit na sobrang tagal na naming magkapareha hindi pa rin nawawala 'yung interes nila sa amin.”
