As promised, K-pop boy band MONSTA X has made their official comeback this January with the release of their new mini album REASON and its title track's dark and funky music video.

Titled “Beautiful Liar,” the title track is a power funk rock track that has rhythmical and powerful punk rock elements. A powerful opener for the new year, the lyrics written by members Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. are centric on the dangers and thrill of loving another person. Despite the risks, this person can't seem to let go and keeps falling for this toxic love.

The accompanying music video gave off the same passionate, sultry, and dark vibe with MONSTA X dressed in matching red leather suits while performing in a burning warehouse alongside backup dancers dressed in black, leather, and chains.

Apart from “Beautiful Liar,” REASON also includes songs such as “Daydream,” “Crescendo,” “LONE RANGER,” “Deny,” and “IT'S ALRIGHT.” According to Monbebes, the newly released album is so addicting they could listen to it all day without getting tired of it.
