#GMAHOAAccess: In his final ment during his '2023 BEST CHOI'S MINHO LUCKY CHOI'S IN MANILA' fan meet, SHINee's Minho gave Shawols a glimmer of hope that a Philippine stop in the next SHINee concert tour is possible.

The SM Mall of Asia Arena was filled with thunderous screams after SHINee's Minho gave a positive response to a banner that read "We want SHINee World Concert VI in Philippines" during his first Manila fan meeting event on Saturday, January 28.

Minho kickstarted the Asian tour of his "2023 BEST CHOI'S MINHO LUCKY CHOI'S" fan meet in the Philippines, his first visit to the country after six years. The last time he was here was in 2017 when SHINee performed in the One K Global Peace Concert.

"Okay, I got it!" he said after reading the banner, much to the delight of Shawols inside the venue.

He then followed it up with "I'll also make sure that next time, I'll come together with the other members and show you a good performance," resulting in an eruption of even louder cheers.

If Minho does fulfill his promise, it will be the first time that a Philippine leg is included in a SHINee world tour.

SHINee's last concert tour, "SHINee World V," was held from 2016 to 2017 with stops in South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Canada, the United States, Hong Kong, and Thailand. After releasing their The Story of Light albums in 2018, the group went on hiatus as members Onew, Key, and Minho served in the military. Youngest member Taemin worked on his solo career and as a SuperM member at that time.

In 2021, SHINee had an explosive comeback with the release of their seventh full album Don't Call Me and its repackaged version Atlantis. By May, they had to go on hiatus again as Taemin entered the military. He is scheduled to be discharged this April, a month before their 15th debut anniversary.
