Kapuso singer-songwriter Psalms David sings his newest single 'Ride' for the online music show.
Psalms David surprises his fans and listeners with another musical treat!
The all-new online music show Spotlight Music Sessions featured Kapuso performer Psalms David as he sings his original song "Ride" on Friday, February 10.
Composed by Psalms and Filipino-Japanese singer-songwriter Kenzo Martini, his new track will surely make you feel at ease and relaxed as it tells you how to enjoy the ride of life.
Psalms is an alumnus of the first season of the original Kapuso singing competition The Clash.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Psalms shared how his life changed years after joining the singing contest.
“I found myself after joining the first season of The Clash and sobrang nagbago 'yung buhay ko dahil nagkaroon ako ng work, tinanggap ako ng GMA. I've been through intensive workshops not only singing but also dancing and acting,” he said.
Last year, Psalms released "Kaulayaw," a pop ballad song which is very close to his heart.
In the interview, he also shared the meaning behind the title of his song.
“It's about comfort na you have someone. Kaulayaw means a constant companion. I hope na when you listen to this song, 'yung kanta ko 'yung maging companion n'yo sa happiness, sadness, and sa anumang emotions na nararamdaman n'yo,” he explained.
