Two of GMA Network's premiere comedy shows continue to rake in accolades this 2023.
Two multi-awarded shows led by premiere Kapuso comedian Michael V. bagged awards in the recently concluded 2023 Platinum Stallion National Media Awards.
Organized by the Media and Communication Department of Trinity University of Asia, the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang was recognized as the Best Gag Show this year.
Last month, Bubble Gang star Paolo Contis won as Best Comedy Actor in 35th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Television.
Meanwhile, Michael V.'s other show, Pepito Manaloto, was chosen as the Best Comedy Program in the Platinum Stallion National Media Awards.
The program also won in the PMPC Star Awards for Television this year. Moreover, the well-loved sitcom and Michael V. bagged awards in the 5th Gawad Lasallianeta.
Michael V. serves as the creative director of both Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto.
