Jimin of the Korean supergroup BTS is set to release his first-ever solo album, FACE, next month.
In an announcement on Weverse, the group's record label, BigHit Music, said Jimin's album will be released on March 24 at 1 p.m. KST (12 p.m. in Manila).
According to the label, Jimin's upcoming album is about “facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist.”
“Jimin will see the fans through various activities including the 'FACE' release so we ask for your continued interest and support for Jimin's first official solo activity,” BigHit continued.
The record label also dropped a teaser for FACE on their social media accounts.
The 35-second visualizer featured water droplets and water ripples, which ended with a text of the album's title.

The vocalist-dancer recently collaborated with BIGBANG's Taeyang for the hit song, “VIBE,” released last month.
Jimin also has solo songs in BTS's albums, including “Lie,” “Serendipity,” and “Filter.”
