Liza Soberano gives life updates and talked about her new career journey in latest vlog.
Liza Soberano on Sunday surprised her fans and followers with a 14-minute vlog titled “This is Me,” updating them about her life the past year and the new career direction she has ventured on.
In the video, Liza shared her thoughts and feelings about her career, as well as her reason for needing a change in trajectory.
According to Liza, she has embarked on a new chapter, where she can finally take control of her life and pursue the dreams she has hold-off.
"It's exciting. It's terrifying. It's anxiety-filled and confusing. But what I know for sure is that for the first time, I'm finally living my life for me,” she mused.
Liza said she is aware of some backlash she has been receiving with her new career move.
"I know and I understand that it's unfair to all the Liza Soberano fans, all the LizQuen fans, but I hope you understand that by doing so, by giving in to the pressure of doing what everybody else wants for me, I'm being unfair to myself, Hope Soberano,” she continued.
Liza added, “I've sacrificed my childhood, I've sacrificed my freedom, and I've sacrificed my happiness to present Liza Soberano to the world. I think I've earned the right to finally be me, to finally be able to do things for me, as Hope Soberano.”
Liza also talked about the things she has been working on lately, including getting into writing and producing and strengthening her relationship with the brands she works with.
“I want to be more intentional about the brands that I associate myself with and I want to make sure that the products that I preach for are actually products that I believe in, companies that I believe in, brands that I believe in and actually use,” she explained.
In the latter part of the video, Liza expressed her gratitude towards her fans, the brands she has worked with, and everything she has experienced.
“I'm truly so grateful for everything that I have, everything that I've experienced in life--professionally and personally--and everything else that came with it. I'm so grateful for my supporters, I'm so grateful for the brands that I get to work with,” she said.
