The saying ‘love is sweeter the second time around’ holds true for celebrity couple Enzo Pineda and Louise delos Reyes.

The saying ‘love is sweeter the second time around’ holds true for celebrity couple Enzo Pineda and Louise delos Reyes.

“Nagkaroon kami ng ganung phase before. As in six months wala... Medyo nagkikita kami before sa Party Pilipinas pero dedma lang talaga,” she shared with Suzi Entrata-Abrera and Camille Prats in ‘Mars.’

However, destiny brought them back together as the two became team mates in the competition-themed variety show Sunday All Stars. Although Louise was sure that the relationship was already over, she knew that she felt giddy around Enzo.

“Nung nag-start 'yung SAS, naging magka-group kami… That time kasi, nandun na sa point na separate (na) talaga. Tapos nandun 'yung [feeling na] ‘shocks, bakit ganto?’ Parang gusto ko mag-meeting [for our production numbers] palagi,” she added.

The young actress also felt that it wasn’t one-sided because she observed that Enzo was also on the same page.

“Nakikita ko na gusto niya mag-meeting, hindi dahil gusto niya talaga makipag-meeting. May mga ganun na gusto niyang magkasama [kami],” she recounted.

The Kambal Sirena lead star admitted that she loves her boyfriend more now and that they both learned from each other and the experience.

“We’re better [people] ngayon, mas mature. Nung panahon [na] wala kami, iniisip ko [na tama] din 'yung sinasabi niya sa ‘kin, 'yung mga mali sa akin. Tapos, naisip niya din 'yung ginagawa niya na sinasabi ko. 'Yung mga flaws namin, talagang tinanggal namin, kasi pangit din siya bilang tao,” she said.

Emerging as better individuals and a better couple after the relationship hiatus, the two claim to be happier now. “Ngayon, hindi kami nag-aaway. Siguro 'yung mga tampuhan na sobrang light lang. He can go with his friends, ako [nakakasama ako sa mga] kaibigan ko. Tapos ngayon, nasa isang malaking grupo [kaming lahat],” she shared.

Catch Louise in Kambal Sirena, airing in GMA Telebabad starting March, and in Sunday All Stars every Sunday at noon.
