Dreamwalker writer and creator Mikey Sutton revealed that its third issue is set to be released in April in the US.
The horror comic series is illustrated by Noel Layon Flores who also works for GMA as the lead visual designer of the upcoming live-action adaptation series Voltes V : Legacy and hit fantasy series Encantadia (2016).
Dreamwalker Book 1 released its first printout copy last February 2022 under Second Skin Publications in the US. Its Philippine edition, which features a new cover from Flores with the animated image of Kate Valdez--to whom the comics is inspired--holding a sword before the Philippine flag, is also available in the country for purchase via Comic Odyssey, Comic Quest, and YourComic Shop. The second book of Dreamwalker was released last July 2022.
On his Facebook account, Sutton shared a sneak preview of the photo variant issue of Dreamwalker No. 3.
Kate had a photo session as Dreamwalker and her character's evil twin inside, as shown in the photo below where she's giving off villain vibes in an all-black ensemble.
The third issue will have the actual image of Kate on the cover of the book with exclusive new photos of the actress.
One edition of the cover will be from Flores' illustration.
A TV adaptation of Dreamwalker is in the works and will be top-billed by Kate Valdez, herself.
Just recently, the Kapuso actress met with the people of 108 Media, the company that will produce the live-action multi-series adaptation of Dreamwalker which will be written by Kaitlyn Fae Fajilan, with Treb Monteras II as the showrunner, and will be directed by Mikhail Red.
