Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista is proud of Barbie Forteza, who he thinks has “come full circle" because of his hit song "The Way You Look at Me."
On Instagram, Christian posted a video reel showing a unique throwback picture of him singing his single "The Way You Look at Me" with a young Barbie Forteza singing along during one of his mall shows.
The second photo, on the other hand, shows a now grown-up Barbie singing with him on a different stage.
“Barbie, when she was young, bright-eyed, full of talent and wonder, sang with me during one of my mall shows for the song 'The way you look at me.'” the singer captioned his post.
He added, “Fast forward to today, she joins the music video for Ben and Ben's version of the same song. We have come full circle indeed. I'm blessed to know she is still full of wonder. Her talent has multiplied. And yet her kindness remains. Proud of you!”
On March 11, Universal Records and Christian announced that the love team of Barbie and "Pambansang Ginoo" David Licauco, which started in the recently concluded historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra, will be starring in a music video folk-pop band Ben&Ben's cover of the same song.
Based on the official poster, Sparkle artist Shuvee Etrata will be joining Barbie and David in the music video, and Christian himself will have a special participation.

He added, “We just can't wait to share this magical project to you soon! Thank you, Universal Records Philippines for making this possible. #BarDaWayYouLookAtMeMV”
The song "The Way You Look at Me" is very dear to Christian's heart not only because it is his first single released, but it also bolstered him to fame in the Philippines as well as abroad.
