AraBella actress Althea Ablan has one message to her younger self after reaching where she is right now and that is: “Good job.”

“Ako, masasabi ko sa little version ko is 'Good job,' kasi you never stopped, di'ba?” Althea said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.

“Kasi, kapag kaharap ko yung camera before talaga, papakantahin ako, papasayawin ako, gagawin ko talaga. Pabibo ako talaga,” she added.

In a separate interview, Althea revealed that she started at six years old by doing TV commercials.

“Nag-try lang kami mag-VTR, tapos hindi namin alam na 'O, para sa' kin pala yung showbiz industry.' So, nung nasisimulan ko na siya, sobrang na-e-enjoy ko siya,” she said.

She also recalled her auditions for GMA, “Nung first, sabi nila 'Wait mo yung call namin' pero wala akong natanggap na call. Pero nung second, ayun na, doon na nag-start, nag-Encantadia ako, Mulawin, tapos nagkaroon ng Prima Donnas 'tas itong AraBella so yun na yung journey ko ngayon.”

What can Althea say about her journey so far?

“Sobrang nakaka-proud," she replied. “Kasi lahat ng pagod, 'tsaka tiyaga lang talaga yan, e. And siyempre, si mommy, super thankful ako kay mommy kasi siya yung kasama ko sa lahat, puyatan, sa mga biyahe, lahat-lahat, sa mga stress na araw, nandyan siya sa'kin, hindi niya ako pinabayaan,” she added.

Althea will star in an upcoming horror film too however, no other details were revealed.

With two series and her upcoming first movie, what roles does the young actress wants to have in the future?

“Well ito, nabigyan na ako ng horror, gusto ko ma-try na disbility para din ma-spread ng awareness to everyone. Bukod dun, action, action-comedy, lagyan natin ng twist. Gusto ko mapagod ako,” she answered.

She mentioned she wanted to join the cast of the upcoming adaptation of Voltes V: Legacy “kasi mga action yan, mga cinematic na scenes.”

Althea also revealed that she's into sports, and said that she's been training how to skate. She then added that she was at the skating rink when she found out that a series about skating will be filmed in the same rink.

She recalled, “Nung narinig ko 'yun, nandoon na 'ko mismo sa rink, sa ice rink, na may nagbalita sa'kin na 'Uy, meron daw magte-taping dito, skating, si Xian Lim.' Sabi ko, 'Wow, talaga?' Sabi nila 'Oo, baka pwede ka dun mag young or di kaya kapatid.'”

The actress admitted that when she heard the news, she got more inspired to take her skating lessons.

“Ang tagal ko nang hindi nakakabalik sa skating pero I want to be part of Hearts on Ice. Why not, di ba, in the future. Actually, nabanggit ko na kanina na mahilig ako sa sports, so why not magkaroon ng (series about) volleyball, or any kind of sports,” she added.
