Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla recalled her how scared she was in her skydiving and canyon swing scenes with Gerald Anderson.
She mentioned this at the press conference their upcoming romance-drama film Unrave held this Wednesday,March 29, at Ayala Malls Vertis North in Quezon City,
According to Kylie, it took her almost 30 minutes before she had the courage to take a leap from the 90-meter platform and swing at the middle of towering rocks in Grindelwald, Switzerland.
"Yung canyon swing part, siguro mga thirty minutes kamimg naghintay na tumalon ako. I swear natakot ako baka hindi ko magawa eh. May anxiety pa naman ako. Alam mo yung mga thoughts na baka atakihin ako sa puso o baka mamaya hindi ako umuwi ng buhay, mga ganon," she said.
Kylie also admitted that she feared for her life during her first skydiving adventure in Interlaken.
"I have a bad habit kasi like I need to be controlled of everything so yun yung feeling na kailangan kong mag-let go, tatalon ka lang and just let whatever happens. Siyempre may fear of death na baka mamaya atakihin ako sa puso ganun pero wala naman," she shared.
Kylie also emphasized in the interview how she conquered her fear and used her skydiving experience in dealing with her problems in life.
"Actually that's what I put in my head para makapag skydive ako. Kapag na-conquer ko 'to, mako-conquer ko yung anxiety ko, mako-conquer ko whatever happens in the future. So ginamit ko siya as the catalyst for my life," she explained.
Unravel is one of the eight entries included in the 2023 Summer Metro Manila Film Festival which will be shown from April 8 to April 18 in all cinemas nationwide.
