BLACKPINK's Kim Jisoo has finally released her debut solo single titled "Flower" with an accompanying music video.
On March 31, the Korean singer-actress' music video for "Flower" was launched on BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel.
The video premiered at 12 p.m. local time, and has reached over a million views in just four minutes.
Before its debut, "Flower" was already breaking records. On March 28, a "Flower" MV teaser was dropped and it quickly became a worldwide trend on social media platform Twitter, and also became the #1 worldwide trend on YouTube due to the hype from K-pop fans.

After the release of BLACKPINK bandmates Jennie's solo single "Solo" (2018), Rosé's solo single album "R" (2021), and Lisa's solo single album "Lalisa" (2021), Jisoo is the final member of the K-pop girl group to release her music.
On January 2, 2023, YG Entertainment announced that Jisoo was recording music for her single album and had completed the album's photo shoots.
"Flower" was released by YG Entertainment as the lead single from the pop idol's debut single album, "Me." It was written by Vince, Teddy, Kush, and VVN and composed by the latter two alongside 24.
