Even with her dream to become a successful actress, Nicole Donesa worked hard as an AB Communications student at the Angelicum College. Because of her determination, she graduated yesterday.

“Balancing tapings, workshops, and school all at the same time is the most overwhelming and stressful feeling. I cried, I laughed, I sobbed but most importantly,  I learned,” she wrote on her Instagram.

Nicole, who was crowned Miss World Philippines Third Princess in 2014, used her beauty pageant experience, in writing her thesis. The topic she chose was ‘The Definition of the Empowered Woman through Beauty Pageants.’

Her challenges being a working student reminded her of the importance of resilience.

“Life will not always go your way, and that’s okay. Just remember to keep on going and soar higher than you’ve ever before,” she added.
