Nigel Ng and wife Sabrina

Nigel Ng, globally known as Uncle Roger, has officially announced that he is expecting his first child with wife, Sabrina.

In his Instagram post, the famous Malaysian comedian and food reviewer Nigel Ng, known to his followers and supporters as Uncle Roger, shared the news that he is expecting his first child.

He announced this joyful milestone on a date that coincided with both the Lunar New Year festivities and the beginning of Ramadan.

Included in the post was a photo of him with his wife, Sabrina, along with the sonogram of their highly anticipated first baby.

“New nephew coming soon! Happy Lunar New Year and Ramadan Mubarak,” Nigel wrote in the caption.

The post quickly went viral, garnering congratulations from fans and high-profile friends alike, including celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and Filipino food content creator, Abi Marquez.

The couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in Portugal in July 2025.

Nigel's rise to global fame is largely credited to his Uncle Roger persona, a character who became a viral sensation for his sharp-tongued roasts of celebrity chefs.

He famously took on Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver, critiqued for their unconventional methods of preparing Asian staples like egg fried rice.

Nigel has also engaged with Filipino cuisine and creators. He famously reviewed American chef Geoffrey Zakarian's take on adobo and collaborated with the Philippines' own “Lumpia Queen,” Abi Marquez, for a high-energy lumpia cooking video.
