Nikka on the late Celeste Velasco: “Thank you for being the best mother-in-law one could have”
Nikka Martinez-Garcia was devastated when she learned the death of her dearest mother-in-law, Celeste "Bing" Velasco.
Former PBA cager Doug Kramer, the husband of Chesca Garcia, announced Celeste's untimely death last Tuesday, April 23.
In a lengthy letter she posted on Instagram, the wife of Patrick Garcia expressed her admiration and love for Mommy Celeste, whom they fondly call “momsy.”
Nikka wrote, “Where to begin, I don't know. So much to say but don't know where to start.
“I've always expressed to you how much I love you. So let's start there. Momsy!!!!! I love you!!!!!!”
She also thanked her Mommy Celeste for being such a doting mother-in-law.
“Thank you for being the best mother in law one could have. Thank you that from the very start, you made me feel like your own. Thank you for cooking for me all my food cravings. Thank you for making me clothes and always handing me gifts whenever we would pick you up for random lunch dates.” Nikka said.
“Thank you for always listening to me and for always finding a way to make a serious conversation end with laughter. Thank you for empowering and encouraging us. You always believed in us! Thank you for all the little, the big and everything in between that you did for me and my family. Momsy I love you. Hindi ako nagkulang magsabi syo… and I am glad I always told you this because I really do. You are so loved!!!! Momsy I will miss you. Infact I already do. I will love Pat and take care of him for the rest of my life momsy. I just can't promise I can cook for him the way you do ok? Again and again and again, I love you. Till we see each other again.”

Patrick tied the knot with Nikka in March 2015. The couple are blessed with four children: Michelle, Patrice, Pia, and Enrique Pablo.
The former teen actor also has a son with Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado named Alex Jazz.
