Actress Nikki Valdez is grateful to be alive after an accident and is now on the road to recovery.
Nikki Valdez recently posted a photo of herself on a wheelchair and with an arm sling on her left arm.
The actress didn't give full details on the accident, but she says she's grateful to be alive.
Part of her caption reads, “Today, I came home with a grateful heart. Much worse could have happened but here I am alive and in one piece (may kamay na bakal lang nga but all good!!). It may take time for a full recovery but I will be diligent in doing everything to feel better.”
She then thanked her neighbors who helped administer first aid and to the nurses and doctors who attended to her.
Nikki also thanked her friends in and out of showbiz who showed concern for her and to her families for their love and care.
She also gave a special shoutout to her husband by saying, “Last but not the least, my husband Luis for being my extra arm, extra hand, my extra everythiiiiiing making sure I am mobile and not in so much pain. I love you sooooooo much!!!!”
Nikki ended her post by expressing her gratefulness to God. She says, “This situation has just once again proven one thing -- God is in control and has sent so many angels on earth to love and take care of me. From the bottom of my heart, salamat po.”
In a separate post, Nikki also gave a special message to her daughter, who she says was the most worried of all.
“Laging nakaalalay, she sets up my corner in the living room so I can rest and makes sure to kiss my casted arm and says, “I love you my Mama...”
"Thank you anak. Mama will be careful na. I don't like you to worry nor feel sorry for me ha. Thank you for taking care of me. #MyOY”
