Nina may have ended her 'StarStruck' journey last February 14, but she knows that this is just the start of her showbiz career. Ano nga ba ang mga plano niya?
On Valentine's Day, 'StarStruck V' bids farewell to its last Avenger: Nina Kodaka. But while she is no longer in the running for Ultimate Female Survivor, iGMA.tv recognizes the challenges Nina has gone through—through this look back on Nina's life before 'StarStruck,' and what she plans to do after. Interview and Text by Marian I. Molina. Photos by Naomi V. Pitargue. With Additional Text and Photos by Jason John S. Lim. starsFor Nina Kodaka experiencing great pain helped her para may mapaghugutan siya sa kanyang pag-arte. "Pagdating sa acting, nakakatulong talaga 'yung nakaramdam ako noon ng sobrang galit." According to Nina, ito ang strategy na ginamit niya sa kanyang mga naging acting tests—and she's happy naman about the results. "Sobrang saya, kasi pag walang na-experience na sobrang sakit na bagay, 'di ka makakaiyak." Life in StarStruck Pansin ng mga tao ang pagiging tahimik ni Nina. Pero ngayon, sabi niya, StarStruck has changed her a lot; "mas naging madaldal ako kaysa noon." Kung noon daw na sa isang tao lang siya lagi nakikipag-usap, now she mingles with other people. At ang issue niya: ang pagtagal niya sa competition even with her supposed lack of energy. Nina tells iGMA.tv na hindi naman daw ito nakakaapekto ng masyado sa kanya—except during the time na nanggaling na ito mismo sa kanyang mga kasamahan: "Masakit pag sa kanila mismo nanggagaling." Every dark cloud has a silver lining though, and Nina's cloud is sparkling with supporters—people who Nina is very grateful for. Goodbye StarStruck Ngayong wala na sa competition si Nina, she has one week of rest before Final Judgment—and before the real artista test begins. At ang kanyang plan of action? "Diet." Nina says she really plans to lose a little more weight, something she's been working on with fellow StarStruck contender Rocco Nacino. Other than this, she also plans on watching Filipino movies—a lot of Filipino movies. She adds na kahit sa totoong buhay raw, laging pinupuna ang normal niyang kilos—something she herself knows na hindi as energetic as other people. Kaya naman, she tells us, she wants to work on being more energetic—"kahit hindi sa harap ng camera." starsOnce Final Judgment is over, Nina says she wants to accept all projects that will come her way. "Hangga't kaya ko, lahat tatanggapin ko," she says. Kung papipiliin, she says she wants to focus on acting. "Kahit ano—kahit comedy, tatanggapin ko." And she would love it kung makakasama pa rin niya sa trabaho ang mga co-StarStruck Final 14 niya. "Gusto ko sila makasama; gusto ko lahat. Ayaw kong humiwalay."
