For Nino stars Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Umali and Renz Valerio, education is still their top priority.

The tween stars entered showbiz at a very young age.

While they devoted several years doing TV commercials, TV series and films, they know that studying is still a better investment.

In an interview on 24 Oras, they revealed that when the camera is not rolling, they are study buddies.

Bianca is bent on pursuing the dreams that her deceased parents had for her.

Renz also heeds his parents’ advice.

“Sabi po ng mama’t papa ko pag lumaki [ako], ito lang ‘yung hindi mananakaw sa’yo, ‘yung pag-aaral mo,” he said.

For his part, Miguel also dreams of becoming a pilot. The young actor is giving a lot of effort to his acting to be able to save enough for his studies.

Miguel said his title role in Niño helped him foster a deeper empathy towards people with mental disabilities.

May feelings din sila,” he said.
