
Veteran actress Odette Khan is currently facing serious health issues.
According to a statement from her daughter, Claudette Avelino-Tandoc, her mother has been hospitalized and bedridden at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute since February 21.
In a recent post on the "Bar Boys" Facebook page, it was revealed that Odette is suffering from pneumonia, emphysema, and edema. Last Monday, doctors drained fluid from her right lung, and she is currently undergoing treatment as medical professionals closely monitor her condition.
"Ms Odette Khan has been confined and bedridden here in National Kidney and Transplant Institute since Saturday, Feb.21.
She has Pneumonia, Emphysema, Edema and fluid was drained from her right lungs last Monday. Treatment is still ongoing, and hospital bill as of today, Feb.27, is now at PHP 211,000+ not including professional and readers fee, caregiving expenses and medicines are not included yet"
As of February 27, the hospital bill has exceeded PHP 211,000. This amount does not yet include professional fees, caregiving expenses, or medications. Claudette is seeking financial support for her mother's hospital expenses.

Odette was last seen in public during the media conference of Bar Boys After School, which was an official entry to the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival.
