Robert Avilo or Mang Cocoy used to be a magician in Olongapo. Due to difficulties in his life, he along with his wife Julie, transferred to Manila hoping for a better life.
Mang Cocoy had to give up his magic act and eventually became a pimp to prostitutes. In order to survive, Julie had to go to Japan. Unfortunately when she returned, her husband already found love in the arms of another woman.
