Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid mourns the passing of his father, Hermino Alcasid Sr.

Early Tuesday, Ogie paid tribute to his late father by posting their selfie on Instagram and said, “I will miss you so much, Dad.

“My heart grieves knowing you are gone but I am at peace because you are in the loving arms of our Father in heaven. I love you so much, Daddy.”

Ogie did not disclose any details about the cause of his father's death.

In the comments section, several celebrities and friends sent their deepest condolences to the grieving family.
