Ogie Alcasid on being part of the 30th anniversary: “So blessed that I'm here today na makisaya.”
Just two more days to go before the grand “BG30: Batang Bubble Ako Concert” happening on October 19, with the second part set to air on October 26.
OPM icon and original Ka-Bubble Ogie Alcasid is returning to be part of this big celebration. Based on the anniversary teaser released, he will reprise his role as Boy Pick Up
In an interview with 24 Oras, the comedian-singer expressed his happiness for being part of this TV milestone of the Kapuso gag show.
“Unang-una happy anniversary sa Bubble Gang. Thirty years! Grabe!” Ogie said on "Chika Minute."
“Bibilangin mo 30 years ang hirap nga bilangin nun sa dalire e, para bilangin mo pa 'yung number of years na namamayagpag 'yung Bubble Gang. Nakakatuwa, so blessed that I'm here today na makisaya at maki-enjoy sa mga co-actors natin dito sa Bubble Gang.”
Of course, Boy Pick Up will be joined by the lovely maiden Neneng B played by Sam Pinto.
Sam told 24 Oras how Bubble Gang played a crucial part in her showbiz career.
“ˈYung reaksyon ko nga parang, totoo bang ibabalik nila 'to. Kasi, Neneng B was a big part of my career kasi it really helped me. Kasi, may time na hindi na ako Sam Pinto, e. Neneng B na tawag sa akin ng buong Pilipinas. So, it was really a big chunk of my career that I love.”
