Ogie Alcasid and Lovi Poe


Ogie Alcasid wishes newlyweds Love Poe and Monty Belcowe nothing but peace and true joy.

As the writer and original singer of the song "Pangarap Ko ang Ibigin Ka," the song that played during the wedding of Lovi Poe and Monty Benclowe, Ogie Alcasid has nothing but well wishes to the happy couple.

On Instagram, Ogie re-posted the video of Lovi walking down the aisle and wrote a short letter to the actress.

"Dear Lovi, [I] would have loved to witness you be married to Monty in this enchanting place but watching this reel and hearing “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka” in the background transports me instantly into your sacred place of union," he wrote.

He added, "I wish you peace, happiness, and true Joy my dear as you live in love with your hubby."

Ogie also noted how blessed he was to have witnessed Lovi's growth from "a young lady to a beautiful bride."

"The Lord bless you both and keep you!! Love you," he ended his post.

Lovi got married to fiancé Monty, on Saturday, August 26 at the Cliveden House in the United Kingdom.

In the video re-posted by Ogie, Lovi was seen walking down the aisle with the song "Pangarap Ko ang Ibigin Ka” playing in the background. She then stopped briefly in the middle to say, “I wanna savor this moment.”

Lovi and Monty first sparked dating rumors when the actress posted several pictures of them together back in 2019. The couple got engaged in 2021.
