Ogie Diaz

Ogie Diaz proudly shared that his daughter, Godhie, graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Medical Technology and received multiple awards during her graduation ceremony.

Ogie Diaz took to social media to celebrate a major milestone in his family's life as his daughter, Godhie, graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree.

The proud father revealed that the 22-year-old not only completed her studies but also received multiple awards during graduation, including the Faculty of Pharmacy award, the Manuel L. Quezon Leadership Award at the college level, and the distinction of graduating Cum Laude.

According to Ogie, he and his wife Georgette del Rosario were already overjoyed to see their daughter finish college. Their pride grew even more when they were invited onstage to accompany Godhie as she received her medals and honors.

The showbiz personality recalled that his daughter had long set her sights on graduating with honors. When she entered college, Godhie would often tell her parents that she wanted to become a Cum Laude graduate so they could join her onstage during commencement exercises.

Ogie also reflected on his daughter's determination and intelligence, sharing that even as a young child, she displayed an impressive memory and a strong interest in learning. He credited part of her inspiration to pursue medicine to her godmother, an obstetrician-gynecologist who played an important role in their family's life.

Despite Godhie's academic achievements, Ogie said he and his wife never pressured their daughter to excel in school. Instead, they constantly reminded her to prioritize her health and well-being while working toward her goals.

In his heartfelt message, Ogie congratulated his daughter and expressed his excitement for her future, saying the entire family is proud of what she has accomplished. He also encouraged his children to continue pursuing their dreams through education, emphasizing that their achievements will ultimately benefit their own futures.

"Congrats again, Godhie! Our future doctor!" Ogie wrote.
