We see him almost everyday on television portraying different roles, even hosting two shows on the QTV channel. Pekto has become famous as the quick-witted and funny guy (or gay, depending on what show he is in) who gives comic relief to the programs he is part of.
A serious comedian
Versatile in his craft, Pekto can easily shift from being a comedian to a dramatic actor if the role asks for it. He has learned to control his urge to drop a funny line or two when the scene asks for him to be serious. But somehow, the viewers still finds him funny.

Thus, he says he prefers to concentrate on being a comedian.
“Kasi magaan gawin, masarap, masaya.
Truly a serious comedian, he says that making people laugh is not an easy craft.
Mahirap pag pilit.”
Cookie and Nuts
Part of the top-rating gag show,
Nuts Entertainment Just 4 Play, Pekto makes his presence felt amongst the veteran comedians
Joey de Leon, Janno Gibbs and
Anjo Yllana, when he is playing the role of Cookie.
A loud-mouthed and naughty character, Cookie together with
Belli Flori (
John Feir) makes us roll with laughter as they perform their tricks and deliver their spiels.

A factor why these comedians are a hit is their funny costumes and guises. Pekto intimated that he conceptualizes his looks every time they tape an episode of
Nuts.
He also says he enjoys portraying the character of Cookie and confesses that he doesn’t mind a bit that he has to act as a girl, rather as gay, in most segments of the show.
Pekto also acknowledges the fact that another factor why viewers are watching the show is the obvious camaraderie among the cast. He also admits that it is an honor for him to be working with his favorite comedians.
