We've seen artists bringing their performances online, but Pinoy band Sandwich takes entertainment in the time of quarantine a notch higher by jamming together while in their respective homes.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, concerts and other mass gatherings have been canceled and postponed.
International artists like Chris Martin of Coldplay, John Legend and Pink have gone online to continue playing music for their audience.
A Filipino act joins the trend as members of alternative rock band Sandwich come together to deliver good music to their fans. The band still practiced quarantine and social distancing by remaining in their respective homes yet playing flawlessly in sync in their jamming sessions online.
Sandwich, composed of Raymund Marasigan, Mylene Academia, Mon Alcaraz, Diego Castillo, and Mike Dizon, performed their songs “Buhol buhol” and “Return to Center.” The performances dubbed as “Work From Home Sessions” are uploaded on the band's Instagram account.
