Daddy's Gurl star Oyo Sotto had some sad news to share with his followers as he mourned the death of his grandfather, Honesto Bonnevie. Honesto Bonnevie is the father of Oyo's mother, Dina Bonnevie.

In an Instagram post showing a 2019 photo of his children surrounding his grandfather -- affectionately called Papa Ebi by him and his sister Danica Sotto Pingris -- Oyo said that his maternal grandfather would be missed and that was grateful for all the good memories.

Oyo also thanked God in the captions that his children were able to meet their grandfather, before reaffirming his love for his grandfather. He also wrote the date of Papa Ebi's death, November 1.

Oyo's Instagram followers expressed their condolences in the comments section, including celebrities Pauleen Luna-Sotto and Jason Abalos. Pauleen, who is married to Oyo's father Vic, simply wrote “Condolences” while Jason wrote “Nakikiramay ako kapatid.”

Oyo's sister Danica also posted on her Instagram account mourning the loss of their grandfather. In her post, Danica shared old photos with her grandfather and explained how the nickname Papa Ebi came to be.
