Pamela Prinster is giving her 101% as she competes for the title of Ultimate Female Survivor in the seventh season of StarStruck.
The half-Pinay half-American beauty already has experience in showbiz. She was part of the Kapuso soap That's My Amboy in 2015.
But she had to temporarily put her acting career on hold, because she wanted to finish her high school education first.
Pamela tells GMANetwork.com, “Bumalik ako ng States para makapagtapos ng pag-aaral. So I graduated high school now and I decided to come back and give it another shot.”
“'Yun naman talaga gusto ko, I really wanted to come back the whole time, but I just knew I needed to graduate high school kasi iba 'yung pakiramdam ko na hindi pa ako naka-graduate.”
The StarStruck hopeful is extremely passionate when it comes to acting and pointed out that her greatest strength in the competition is her 'respect for the art' itself.
She explains, “My biggest strength ko is respect ko for the art. I'm so serious about this and this is something na I've been wanting for so long.
“Para sa akin it's like I have to act! Kasi this is how I let out so much of my emotions,”
Pamela Prinsters also recalls the moment her name was called by the StarStruck Council to formally announce that she is part of the Final 14.
“I mean everyone goes through 'yung stage of thinking na 'ako ba talaga napili,'" she says, laughing.
“At first, I didn't even know what to do and then ayun after that I was like wow, ibig sabihin talaga they saw something in me. So 'yun nagpasalamat talaga ako like first of all sa mga judges but then of course kay Lord.”
Standing at least 5'7", Pamela admits that she has been approached by people to ask her if she has any plans of joining beauty pageants in the future.
The promising actress does not rule this out, but she clarifies that she needs to build her confidence before competing in any major pageants.
“Maybe one day. Let say I'm satisfied already with all that I have accomplished and accomplished all what I wanted to.
“By then siguro I'll be sure with myself and I feel like I would have the confidence to do something like that.”
