The Mabalacat, Pampanga homecoming for Miss Grand International Emma Tiglao is the second event announced for her return to the Philippines.
Celebrations continue to pour in for current reigning Miss Grand International Emma Tiglao, who is set to take part in another homecoming parade, this time in her home province of Pampanga.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Grand Philippines organization announced that a homecoming parade will be held for Emma in her home town of Mabalacat, Pampanga, this Tuesday, November 25. The motorcade will start at 4 p.m.
In the caption to the post, the organization called on Filipino pageant fans in Mabalacat, Pampanga to “fill the streets with love, cheers, and golden energy” and to celebrate Emma as someone who represents the city with “grace, pride, and unwavering dedication.”
A homecoming parade for Emma at the Ayala Triangle Garden will be held later today, November 24, at 2 p.m. Emma will be joined by Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil, 2025 Miss Grand International first runner-up Gotchabell Gotchapan, as well as “surprise queens”.
In the caption to the post, the organization called it as “more than a parade” but “a moment in history” that will be remembered for “years to come”. The organization also called on fans to “show the world the heart, unity, and grandeur of the Filipino spirit!”
The two homecomings are just two of the celebrations arranged for Emma's return to the country. Her visit will last until the 28th, with the Miss Grand Philippines organization asking fans to watch its official social media accounts for the “full schedule of her homecoming activities, special appearances, and surprises.”
The homecoming parades are just the latest activity Emma's been involved with since winning the Miss Grand International crown. At the start of the month, she was with Miss Universe Thailand's Nawat Itsaragrisil and current reigning Miss Universe Victoria Theilvig welcoming the Miss Universe delegates arriving in Thailand.
Right after her win, Emma attended the FLYNOW Autumn/Winter 2025 collection fashion show during Bangkok International Fashion Week. Aside from pictures of her in a FLYNOW gown, Emma also shared photos of her with Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil and 2025 Miss Grand International first runner-up Sarunrat Puagpipat.
Emma has also visited Chiang Mai'sWat Phra Singh, modeled traditional clothing, and attended the Miss Grand Lampang coronation night.
Emma won the Miss Grand International crown with her response to a question about scammers.
"As someone who reports these kinds of stories, I really want to use the power of balance--us people to be educated and aware, for us to not be scammed, and the help of the government to enhance their justice system for the scammers to be behind bars, to be accountable. 'Cause one day, I hope that we will live in a peaceful world where no one should deceive just to survive," she said.
