Dabarkads Paolo Ballesteros spent a night at the Marikina Valley Medical Center after experiencing a ‘mini stroke.’

Paolo shared the diagnosis on his Instagram account, “Hyper tension daw. transient schemic attack. mild stroke pero hindi naman nagprogress. salamat naman.”

According to his post, his blood pressure reached 200, but he is feeling better now. He is also scheduled to undergo lab tests today.

The American Stroke Association defined that while transient ischemic attack (TIA) is considered a ‘mini-stroke,’ it must be recognized as a warning that must be taken and addressed seriously.

TIA may occur for less than five minutes and does not usually result to permanent brain damage.
