His movie 'Die Beautiful' also won the festival's Most Favorite Film!

"Die Beautiful" is one of the big winners in the recently conducted Metro Manila FIlm Festival. Lead actor Paolo Ballesteros as Trisha won the Best Actor award.

The Best Supporting actor award was then given to his co-actor Christian Bables as Barbs.

The movie was also named "42nd MMFF My Most Favorite Film."

And it even took home the Best Float award.

Directed by Jun Robles Lana, "Die Beautiful" tells the story of Trisha Echevarria, a Filipino transgender woman and beauty pageant veteran, who suddenly dies as she wins a beauty contest.
