In a "Chika Minute" report on 24 Oras, TV host-actor Paolo Contis was asked about It's Showtime airing on GMA. It can be recalled that Paolo was one of the former hosts of the noontime show Tahanang Pinakamasaya, which ended its run last March 2.
Paolo stated that he is willing to make a guest appearance on It's Showtime, “Work is work and I'm very happy na meron silang lugar.”
He is also looking forward to collaborating with its hosts, which he considers as good friends.
“Lahat, alam mo kaibigan ko naman sila, kaibigan ko karamihan sa kanila. Si Ogie [Alcasid], si Vice [Ganda]. I'm very close to Vhong [Navarro], so lahat naman 'yan, very open tayo.”
