Last Mother’s Day, Philippine Queen of Comedy Aiai Delas Alas became emotional over the gifts she was spoiled with by her son Sancho Delas Alas and boyfriend Gerald Sibayan. She missed her two children Sophia and Shaun then recalled her children’s grand surprises over the years and said, “Para nila akong syota, ganun nila akong i-treat.”

Her children would connive to come up with a big surprise, “May paandar pa sila sa isa’t-isa [at] mag-aaway pa ‘yan.”

The Kapuso star stated her daughter Sophia usually goes solo and would come up with a surprise surpassing the guys, “Competitive ‘yun kasi nag-iisang babae. Silang dalawa magkakampi at isa lang 'yung babae so magpapaandar 'yung isa tapos mag-uusap ang dalawa.”

“Feeling tuloy namin trinaidor kami [at] iniwan kami sa ere [ni Sophia]. [Sinasabi namin sa kanya [na] tatlo tayo dapat dito na full force na pasabog [tapos] nilaglag mo kami [dahil] ikaw 'yung may bongga,” Sancho recalls but clarifies it’s a healthy competition and nothing personal.

“Humihiwalay 'yung isa kasi magkakampi ‘tong dalawang lalaki kaya na-realize ko talaga na dapat equal eh kaya ang kakampi niya, ako. Walang siyang kakampi eh,” the actress added.

On the other hand, the newly-signed Kapuso artist said they really plan surprises and give importance to their mom since they were younger, especially when the occasion calls for it, “Ang Mother’s Day kasi importante ‘yun [at] ka-level na ng Pasko.”

“Nag-start kami ng maliliit lang na surprises hanggang sa pa-engrande na nang pa-engrande. Depende kung gaano na karami ang naipon naming baon pero kailangan pasabog pa rin,” the young actor narrated.

The Let The Love Begin actress thought the reason why her children exert much effort during those events is because of what she showed them when they were still little.

“Pasabog din naman kasi ang mga paandar ko sa kanila ‘pag Pasko,” the comedienne remembered giving five gifts for each kid because their busy godparents in the industry can’t personally hand those so she covered them herself.
