South Korean actor Park Bo Gum has enlisted for military service this year according to his agency, Blossom Entertainment.

Korean actor Park Bo Gum's agency Blossom Entertainment has confirmed the actor has
enlisted for mandatory military service this year. Park Bo Gum reportedly applied to join the Korean Navy military band.

If he gets accepted, he shall be enlisting on August 31.

In a statement shared on Korean news site Soompi, Blossom Entertainment said:

"Because he did everything quietly, only a handful of people know even at the agency.

"Though there may be much that you are curious about, the situation will change depending on the result, so please understand that it's difficult to disclose any details at the moment.”

For the meantime, Park Bo Gum's upcoming film Seo Bok is set to premiere this year. He will be starring along with Korean actor Gong Yoo.

Park Bo Gum is also scheduled to appear in the Korean 2021 film Wonderland with Korean star Suzy and the tvN drama A Record of Youth.
