Squid Game Season 3 cast members Park Sung-hoon, who portrayed the transgender character Hyunju (Player 120), and Kim Si-eun, who played Youngmi (Player 095), reunited onstage for an emotional moment during the Squid Game Parade Finale Fan Event at Seoul Plaza.
During their appearance, Si-eun affectionately referred to Sung-hoon as her “unnie,” a Korean term meaning “older sister” -- as a touching nod to their bond and to Sung-hoon's role as Hyunju, a transgender woman in the series. The heartfelt exchange drew cheers from the audience and was one of the night's most memorable moments.
The touching scene was captured by content creator and photographer Gia Allana, who was among the over 100 influencers and media personalities invited from around the world to attend the global event. Her snaps and clips gave fans an up-close look at the emotional highlight, adding to the excitement and warmth of the fan celebration.
