Pauleen Luna and Mabel Sotto

TV host Pauleen Luna admits she is still processing the death of her sister-in-law Mabel Sotto, the wife of Maru Sotto.

A year after the death of Mabel Sotto, celebrity mom Pauleen Luna still terribly misses her sister-in-law.

Mabel is the wife of Vic Sotto's brother Maru. They have a daughter named Mara.

Pauleen posted a few photos with Mabel on her Instagram Story to mark her death anniversary. In one of the photos, she wrote in the caption, “I miss you so much.”

In a separate IG story post, the TV host shared that they visited her grave and revealed that even Tali misses her Tita Mabel.

Pauleen noted, “She asked me [Tali] today at the cemetery, 'Mom, is it ok to cry? Cos I feel like crying.'”

“Even my six-year-old misses you. You made such an impact in her life.”, she continued, “I hope you're always praying and rooting for us from heaven.”

Last year, a few days after Mabel's death, Pauleen uploaded a short video clip with a collection of her memorable moments with her.

In the captions, she made a promise to her that she would take care of her family.

"I still find it hard to look forward [cause] looking back seems like the easier thing to do. I love you, my Ate. I pray that the Lord will turn this pain into peace because I know that you are with Him. I promise to take care of your family… please do not worry anymore. Rest easy, my sister.”
