Pauleen Luna-Sotto

“Living with PCOS is no joke,” Pauleen Luna says as she accepts the slow progress of her fitness journey.

Eat Bulaga dabarkad Pauleen Luna gets candid on Instagram as she shares that she's dealing with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or more commonly known as PCOS.

On the social media site, the 32-year-old actress and TV host posted a short video doing her workout routine.

According to Pauleen, she has accepted that her fitness journey progress would be a slow one, given the hormonal disorder.

She said, “A little over a month into my fitness journey, and I'm starting to feel strength coming back! I've accepted that it's a slow progress, but slow is better than none.

“Living with PCOS is no joke. Making good choices with my food intake and moving (it's pilates, walking, and spinning for me) has been my priority lately.

“So happy where I am right now, and I really pray that God will sustain me.”

She said, “For a solid eight minutes, I was speechless. I was shaking.

“After that, they decided to open me up, kasi they couldn't take a risk na mangyari ulit 'yun ng other time na wala akong monitor.”

Despite all this, Pauleen said that she loves the “beautiful mess” parenting and motherhood bring to her life, adding, “Don't be too hard on yourself, this is a journey, and it's normal na sometimes you succeed and sometimes hindi.”
