Although she's still hurting from the death of her grandfather, National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz, Paulina Sotto-Llanes wants to reminisce about the good memories with her Lolo Arturo.
Luz passed away at the age of 94 on Wednesday, May 26.
In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, Paulina, a proud lolo's girl, shared a story when her grandfather was in the hospital.
She recounted, “My mom and Tita recently had a virtual meeting with my Lolo's doctors. He was in the hospital and wasn't doing well the past few weeks.
“During the meeting they were talking about how he wasn't his usual joking self.
“Then out of nowhere one of the doctors said (without knowing that I was there listening): “When I visited him he became so happy when I brought up his granddaughter, the artist.”
Paulina added that she's glad that her daughter Sachi Brielle was able to meet her great grandfather, whom she gave birth this pandemic in September 2020.

The daughter of Eat Bulaga pioneer Vic Sotto and Angela Luz also made a promise that she will keep the memory of her lolo alive, too.
“Sachi meeting her great grandfather, Arturo Luz
“Sharing with you all the moment my late Lolo Arturo Luz met his great granddaughter, Sachi 🤍 I will never let Sachi forget her Lolo Lolo (as I call him). I am so thankful that they still got to spend a bit of time together. Truly a blessing.
“September 17, 2020.”
