Indian actor Addy Raj, who starred in the 2017 drama comedy series 'Meant To Be,' popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, model Barbii Reeder, in Boracay.
Philippine-based Indian actor Addy Raj is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend, model Barbii Reeder.
Addy shared the exciting news on his Facebook page, a day before Valentine's Day. As seen on the photos he shared, the actor asked for his girlfriend's hand in marriage while they are romantically soaking in a tub and drinking champagne during their vacation in Boracay.
He said in one part of his caption, "Thank you for saying yes. I swear I've acted in so many proposals before, but nothing prepared me for this. No script, no second take. My heart was racing, and for a second, I thought, what if she says no? (Let's be real, my characters have been rejected before…”
Addy and Barbii met when they did a collaboration video for the former's YouTube channel. According to the actor, Barbii introduced him to Mobile Legends and, eventually, they became gaming partners.
Addy starred in the GMA rom-com series Meant To Be (2017) where he is one of the leading men of Barbie Forteza. In the series, he played the Indian suitor of the actress.
Born and raised in India, Addy first arrived in the Philippines as an exchange student in Ateneo de Manila University for two months. Upon finishing graduation back in India, he decided to return to the Philippines to begin a career in showbiz.
