Phil Younghusband and his wife Margaret returned to the place where they exchanged their “I dos” with Baby Philip in tow.
Former Azkals football player Phil Younghusband and his wife Margaret have officially reached their first anniversary as husband and wife last July 21.
To mark the occasion, the couple, together with their firstborn son Philip, returned to the place where it all started, in Goodnestone Park, Canterbury, United Kingdom.
On Instagram, the former captain of the national team shared snippets of their family vacation as they reminisce the year that was.
He said, “Margaret and I took a trip to @goodnestone_park a couple of days ago on our 1st anniversary to celebrate the most beautiful weekend last year.
“The house, the gardens, and the church are just like how we remember them.
“We had the opportunity to show Philip where his Mum and Dad were married however he seemed more concerned about when his next feed was. Haha!
“Here's to many more anniversaries to come!”
On the day of their anniversary, both Phil and Margaret exchanged sweet words on Instagram by posting videos of their nuptials online.
According to Phil, “1 year ago today, I married the love of my life. It's a day I could relive over and over again.
“A year on and we have been blessed with the most beautiful gift anyone could have ever asked for in Baby Philip.
“Last year I was an excited fiance. Today, I am a proud husband and father and that is all because of you @margaretyounghusband.
“Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary my beautiful love! I love you so much!!!”
Margaret kept it short and said, “Happy Anniversary my love @philyounghusband10.
“One year ago today, we said our vows, and today we are celebrating in the sunshine of @goodnestone_park with our baby boy.
“Very thankful for our blessings.”
Phil and Margaret tied the knot on July 21, 2019.
Their son, Baby Philip James Younghusband, was born on June 12, 2020.
