In Real Life's first episode, host Gabbi Garcia visits Tagaytay City with real-life boyfriend Khalil Ramos.
One of the highlights of the episode was about hacks on photography.
According to Khalil: "Light is 50 percent of your image." When asked what was the other 50%, he revealed: "Composition, 'yung model, of course, location."
Gabbi added, "The best light, is natural light. Kapag may maganda kayong ilaw, nag-ba-bounce siya sa mukha n'yo."
Khalil also shared the best time to take advantage of your natural light is during the daytime. "Medyo tirik na 'yung araw, and the sunroof offers diffusion so medyo nagso-soften 'yung ilaw which produces better skin tones. Para hindi harsh 'yung tama ng light.
He added, "Ako what I like and what Gabbi also likes is shooting up na angle. Kasi if shooting up siya for the model, you will look longer."
Gabbi agreed, "Always shooting up kung whole body para mas mahaba kayong tignan, and just allow yourself to sit naturally and relax, mas lalabas na natural 'yung photo."
Khalil also suggested using directing or leading lines in a photo. 'Yung effect n'ya parang patungo siya, which directs your eyes naturally towards your subject."
In Real Life also featured a barkada group who traveled to Rizal together post-quarantine and visited amazing attractions like Twin Falls and Spider Web in the Masungi Georeserve.
