Emma Tiglao

Miss Grand Philippines Emma Tiglao follows the footsteps of current reigning Miss Grand International CJ Opiaza, who also made it on the same list.

Miss Grand Philippines Emma Tiglao's Miss Grand International journey is off to a good start as the beauty queen has been named one of the pageant's pre-arrival top 10 queens.

In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Grand Philippines Instagram organization announced that Emma secured a spot in the pageant's Top 10 Pre-Arrival. Her inclusion in the top 10 allows her to join an exclusive dinner with Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil and current reigning Miss Grand International CJ Opiaza.

In the caption to the post, the Miss Grand Philippines organization thanked Filipino pageant fans for their “unwavering love and support” and urged them to “keep the fire burning” throughout Emma's Miss Grand International journey.

The Miss Grand International coronation is set to happen in Bangkok, Thailand on October 19.

Becoming part of the Miss Grand International Top 10 Pre-Arrival certainly bodes well for Emma's Miss Grand International campaign, as current reigning Miss Grand International CJ Opiaza was also part of the group last year.

The Miss Grand Philippines organization has certainly not held back when it comes to support for Emma, posting on Instagram back in September that Emma was the “most ready, polished, determined, and fully prepared” delegate to compete in the pageant and hopefully bring home another Miss Grand International crown for the country. The organization also called on pageant fans to support Emma and “stand with her as she takes on the grandest stage.”

Emma was crowned the new Miss Grand Philippines back in August, and in an Instagram post, she expressed her gratitude to the people who prayed for her, guided her, believed in her, and never left her side. She also wrote that her win should be a reminder that pageantry shouldn't be about hate or tearing someone down.

Other winning queens during the Miss Grand Philippines coronation night at the SM Mall of Asia were Miss Grand Zambales Anita Rose Gomez, who was crowned the 2025 Miss Asia Pacific Philippines; Miss Grand Aklan Francesca Beatriz McLelland, who was crowned the 2026 Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas; Miss Grand Taguig Michelle Arceo, who was crowned the 2025 Miss Tourism World Philippines; and Miss Grand Quezon City Nikki Buenafe Cheveh as the 2025 Face of Beauty Philippines.

Miss Grand Bicol Margarette Briton was named the first runner-up, while Miss Grand Rizal Beatriz Ocampo was named second runner-up.

Emma is not the only Filipino competing in international pageants this month. Mister Pilipinas Global Jether Palomo is currently in Bangkok, Thailand to compete in the Mister Global pageant. Should he win, it will be a back to back victory as the current reigning Mister Global Daumier “Dom” Corilla is also from the Philippines.
