Pia Magalona, the wife of master rapper Francis Magalona, joins the rest of the entertainment industry in recalling Francis on his death anniversary as she looks back on their relationship.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Pia posted several photos of her and her family at the grave of Francis, who passed away on March 6, 2009, due to leukemia. In the caption to the post, she shared that she and her family are always praying for him in the same way that he is praying for them. She then shared how Francis would often quote Joan Jett at her and tell her that love is a battlefield. However, she would argue that there is no need to prove nor expect anything when it comes to unconditional love.
Pia is the latest among the Philippine entertainment industry to recall their memories of Francis Magalona on the anniversary of his passing. Last week, Michael V. posted the poster for the 1993 movie Mama's Boy, where he co-starred with Francis Magalona, It's Showtime host Ogie Alcasid, and comedian Anjo Yllana. In the caption to the post, Michael wrote, “People never die as long as somebody remembers them.”
Meanwhile, two of Francis Magalona's daughters, Maxene Magalona and Saab Magalona, reunited to celebrate their father's death anniversary. Maxene shared the reunion on her Instagram Story.
